We are the parents of Laura who last year spent the school year in Ireland. Like all parents, we want the best for our children and with this in mind we decided that Laura would study abroad.
The options that we searched, and there are many, but after studying them in detail, we chose and, without doubt, we decided on ELP Ireland. The reasons? Firstly, because, we must say that it is not a company but a couple who are dedicated to education, that have lived in Spain and who know our way very well. They care for every detail for our daughter so that she felt as comfortable as possible in another country, with another family and language, from the choice of the family to the school to whatever call.
The exquisite following of my child’s development, the attention and continued care made everything easy. Our daughter, in fact, didn’t start well, but thanks to the constant support of Richie, we have seen that she has taken advantage and enjoyed every moment that she has experienced in Ireland, so much so that, as we write these lines, our daughter finds herself again there, enjoying herself with her friends and remembering an experience that, without doubt, has been very positive and she’ll have for the rest of her life.
We can summarise with what she said to us when she returned home: “I’m excited to see you but not to come back”, and this satisifies us.If you would like to speak with us, you can ask for our number from Richie and you can ask us whatever you would like. Think that for our kids and at their age, it will be an unforgettable experience and very advantageous, don’t miss the chance. Take care

We sent our eldest son Miguel last year to Skibbereen and we are so happy with the experience that our daughter Emma is going this year. For a teenager it is a superb experience with much more pro’s than con’s.
The hosting family, the teachers, the class-mates as well as the organization made Miguel feel like at home. The language barrier was overcome in Xmas and the personal experience will last forever. Thanks to ELP for its professionalism and dedication. Highly recommendable!

A year which is more than interesting, both in terms of the personal experience and in the perfection of the English language. Our daughter studied Transition Year, the equivalent of 4th ESO, in Sacred Heart Clonakilty, living with a host family and feeling like one of them
I have counted on the support of Richie, who as well has always been in constant contact with us. We recommend the experience for all young people who want to develop personally, experience a different way of life and to improve their English. Total confidence in the management of ELP Ireland. We are sure that Aina will never forget this course.

Hello!! I would like to explain my experience, as a parent, in relation to my 15-year-old daughter’s stay in Ireland during the 2015-16 School Course, with ELP Ireland.I found ELP Ireland through an internet search. Richard and Claire manage ELP with a personal treatment and the cared about my daughter, the choice of host family and they advised us like nobody else.We had a Skype interview and this was when we decided. My daughter spent the first trimestre there (August to December) and the price was excellent and Richard & Claire’s professionalism was magnificent.
Without doubt, I recommend ELP to all parents and with my experience of 2 kids (one in Ireland and the other in the USA) the best age and course are 15-16 years and Transition Year, a course of Transition which they have, with a lot to gain with the language and little to lose in course materials.
Thank you Richard & Claire
